Kay Stone

I began telling tales by accident in a grade six class at Earl Grey school in 1975, and it has never stopped. While my first appearances were in the schools, I’ve since performed for adults AND children at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, Winnipeg Folk Festival, Toronto Folk Festival, Bay Area Festival (Oakland, Cal.), Manitoba Children’s Museum, Museum of Man, Winnipeg Children’s Festival, to mention only a few. I also love doing workshops — which is where it all began in 1975. My most recent workshop was for adults at the Campbell Library in East Grand Forks, Minn. It’s always a surprise!
