Sandra Krahn

Sandra Krahn is a teacher, artist, and storyteller. Sandra Krahn has taught senior science for ten years and is currently perusing a Masters degree specializing in the use of storytelling for youth citizenship education. She worked as the Coordinator of the Winnipeg International Storytelling Festival for Peace in 2010 and 2011. In February of 2011 she worked as the storyteller in residence at the Loreto Day School Sealdah in Kolkata India. After two weeks of storytelling workshops with 500 students from grade 5-9 the school held a storytelling carnival that provided all students the opportunity to present stories they had created. Sandra is committed to the study and practice of storytelling as a medium to promote community, sustainable development, and democratic citizenship.
